Government Technology published an article about WSBS, its scientific diving squad and the plans to rebuild the diving shed.

The goal of the White Sea Biological Station of Lomonosov’s Moscow State University in Russia is to transform the fields of marine science, molecular biology and sustainable coastal management through a blend of cutting edge research, comprehensive educational experiences and a commitment to share its knowledge internationally.
Marine Biologist Alexander Semenov, who also is a professional underwater photographer and head of the scientific divers team at the White Sea Biological Station, captured amazingly detailed photos of the biological station waters and its sea life, such as the one shown above (…). The station was founded in 1938 and has more than 600 visitors over the summer: students, PhDs, scientists from different countries and volunteers, all of whom leave the station happy and looking forward to their return. The diving shed, however — a tiny and very old barn — is at the edge of collapse, and Semenov is looking to rebuild it.
